Teach Kindergarten in China Full Time

We are Meten Global Teachers (MGT), a subsidiary within the Meten International Education Group (MIEG), and we represent a range of fully-vetted, professional and well-established schools around China, who we believe meet the standards required to work with us, and host one of our valued, international colleagues.

Although initially a small department within MIEG, MGT is now a dedicated recruitment function to ensure that we can offer all the support and guidance you’ll need to join us here in China and have a fantastic experience.

• Deliver a range of interesting classes to younger learners! Armed with your standard tool-kit of flash-cards and colours, you can often enjoy the flexibility to create your own classes.
• Class sizes can often vary, but may range from between 20 – 30 students, giving you a reasonable challenge, but also presenting opportunities for group activities!

Our Students

• Our partners specialize in teaching younger learners, so most of the students you’ll meet will be in the range of   2 – 6 years old!
• In Chinese culture children are often taught to be respectful from a young age, so you’ll often find your students well-behaved and eager to learn!

Your Job Description

MGT teachers can always depend on our friendly Recruitment Consultants to offer advice and guidance on choosing the best position to suit your needs, here in China. However, the following information is provided as a general guide to what you can expect from our partners!

• You’ll generally teach 25 hours each week (100 teaching hours per month) and will enjoy a friendly team-oriented teaching office from where to plan your classes while not teaching,
• You’ll enjoy 2 days off per week (weekday or weekend, depending on the age of your students!),
• Occasionally, you can enjoy fun staff-training activities organized by the school!
• A comprehensive training plan will be in place to help prepare you for your new position, with fun, on-going training throughout your time in the role!
• Teaching young learners often means meeting and chatting with parents to discuss the progress made by their pride and joy, and building a good relationship!

As an MGT teacher joining us as a fresh graduate you’ll enjoy:

• A 120-hour TEFL reimbursement to help you towards the visa requirements

Our Requirements

To apply for a wonderfully-rewarding career with MGT and one of our partners, we would require the following to meet the Chinese visa application requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree (or above) in any subject area (please note, some of our Early-years partners may require specific qualifications, but our Recruitment Consultants will offer advice on this),
• A TEFL (120+ hour) certificate
• A CRB (Criminal Record Background) check certificate (dated within 6-months), and
• A native English-speaker from either the UK, the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa, aged between 20 and 55 (for visa regulation purposes!).

To work with our young learners, we’d also expect the following from our teachers:

• Appropriately presented for, and a love of teaching, young learners
• Be of a cheerful and energetic disposition
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
