Abroad ESL Teacher Job Description

• Hours: 40 hours per week. Maximum 30 hours teaching, typically 25.
• Student Age Range: 3-9
• Class sizes: 8-15
• Class Schedule: Variable but primarily afternoon/evening.

Abroad ESL Teacher Job Requirements

• Applicants must hold a TEFL Certification.
• Applicants must also hold a passport from an English speaking country for visa purposes.

Abroad ESL Teacher Salary and Compensation

• Monthly salary: RMB18,000 – 22,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
• Return flight: Reimbursed at the end of the contract.
• Visa costs: Reimbursed after the first month.
• Resigning Bonus: $1,000 if you stay on for a second year.
• Accommodation: Provided initially
