- ESL English Teacher in China
- Teach English as a second language to children aged 3-18
- Contracts are based on 18-20 hours of teaching per week (90 hours in a month) and 8 administrative hours per week
- Any hours taught over 90 in a month will be paid extra at the end of that month
Requirements
- native English speaker
- Bachelor’s degree
- TEFL certification
- Clean criminal record
- Clean bill of health
- Citizens of the UK, Ireland, the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa.
Salary and benefits
Our one-year salary package includes
- 15,000– 17,500 RMB starting salary depending on experience and qualifications
- 10,000 RMB end of contract bonus
- A month paid holidays throughout the year
- Airport pick up and transportation to accommodation upon arrival in China
- A week of paid training and observations of classes before starting teaching
- Weekly Chinese lessons can be arranged
- Health insurance
- Ongoing support throughout the year
